President Muhammadu Buhari and former President Olusegun Obasanjo met on Tuesday at the inauguration ceremony of the Senegalese President, Macky Sall.
Okay Nigeria recalls that Obasanjo was a critic of Buhari in the just concluded presidential election and supported Atiku Atiku Abubakar.
Despite the Buhari winning the election, Obasanjo restated his support for Atiku Abubakar of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).
However, the inauguration ceremony of the Senegalese President graced the presence of leaders from different parts of the continent, including prominent Nigerians.
The President of African Development Bank (AfDB), Dr Akinwunmi Adesina, American-Senegalese musician Akon and African business moguls such as Mr Kola Adesina and Mr Tony Elumelu, among others.
