Chief Abayomi Adesanya, Ondo State APC Publicity Secretary, in a statement on Friday in Akure, said the rally was for the party’s governorship candidate, Chief Rotimi Akeredolu.

The Ondo State governorship election holds on Saturday, Oct. 26.

Adesanya noted that the visit of the president with other leaders of the party would enhance the support of the masses who believed in true governance which the APC represented.

“The president is expected to address a mammoth crowd of party faithful and the teeming supporters of APC in Ondo State.

“Mr President has given assurances that he will personally grace the campaign rally scheduled to hold on Saturday at the Democracy Park, Akure.

“Buhari will lead all the APC governors across the country and members of the Federal Executive Council to the campaign rally, while the Senate President, Dr Bukola Saraki will also grace the event,’’ he said.

The spokesman said that ace fuji musician, Abass Akande popularly called Obesere would entertain people at the campaign rally.

He urged the people of the state to troop out en-masse to give the president a rousing welcome, as the visit would not only be significant to APC members, but to the entire people of the state.
