Emir of Kano, Alhaji Muhammadu Sanusi II, has urged President Muhamadu Buhari to prosecute the former minister who allegedly stole $6billion under former President Goodluck Jonathan.

Emir Sanusi made the call while hosting members of the Kano State Public Complaints and Anti-Corruption Commission, led by its Executive Chairman, Muhuyi Magaji, who paid him a courtesy visit. He said, ”It is disheartening to see that Nigeria is one of the countries in the world that is leading in corrupt practices. We should understand that fighting against corruption is not only for government, we all need to put our hands on deck”.

”With the high sense of responsibility and responsible doggedness of our dear President Muhammadu Buhari, I am keenly optimistic that things will change for the better. I am very hopeful that Mr. President will do everything possible to fight corruption to a standstill”.
