Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi State has expressed confidence that President Muhammadu Buhari would secure another term at the 2019 presidential election.
The governor added that only God can stop the President from contesting and winning, and no amount of gang up could prevent him.
Bello, who spoke on Tuesday during a programme to mark the second anniversary of the administration, condemned the rising opposition to Buhari’s government.
He said despite the challenges facing the country, some of whom were inherited by the President, Nigeria had progressed from the level that Buhari met it when he assumed power.
Bello stated that Buhari has the overwhelming support of Nigerians to continue in office, because of his transparent leadership and desire to move the country to another level of development.
