Nigeria’s Burna Boy was among the winners announced at the 2019 BET Awards on Sunday.

Burna Boy was nominated alongside Mr Eazi; AKA (South Africa); Aya Nakamura (France); Dave (U.K.); Dosseh (France) and Giggs (U.K). in the ‘Best International act’ category.

Okay.ng understands that the Burna clinched the award which was received by his mother, Bose Ogulu.

She said while receiving the award, “remember you were first an African before any other thing.”
