An Ethiopian Airlines Boeing 737-400 cargo plane en route from Lome airport, Togo, to Accra-Kotoka Airport, Ghana, crash-landed at its destination on January 10, 2015, Saturday.

According to aviation-safety, the jet has sustained substantial damage in a runway excursion during landing at about 11:05 (local time). The three crew members were taken to the 37 Military Hospital in the Ghanaian capital.

Photo evidence from the accident shows that the Boeing came to rest off the runway with a separated right hand main gear and engine.

The nose of the aircraft was damaged by what seems to be the separated engine #2.

The circumstances of the crash-landing are being investigated. Bad weather conditions are considered as the main contributing factor.
