The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has announced the postponement of the portal activation for shortlisted candidates scheduled to participate in the next phase of its recruitment exercise, Okay News reports.

The update was contained in a public announcement signed by Maj. Gen. A. M. Jibril (Rtd.), Secretary to the Board, and released on Monday, 1 December 2025.

According to the statement, the portal, originally expected to open on 1 December 2025, will now go live “as soon as possible.”

The Board explained that the adjustment was necessary to ensure a smooth transition into the physical screening and document verification stage.
