Champions League: Manchester United star set to play against Barcelona

By Promise Amadi

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, manager of Manchester United has revealed that Alexis Sanchez will feature in United squad for Tuesday night’s champions league match.

Sanchez was unable to play against his former club due to injury, but the Chilean international will likely start on the bench against Barcelona.

Sanchez joined Manchester United from Arsenal in January 2018 but has failed to perform for United since joining from Arsenal in January 201.

During a press briefing, Solskjaer said: “Fitness-wise he’s available and of course, for Alexis who’s been here and played here, when he’s on the pitch he wants to prove a point for us as well,”

“He’s been injured, he’s not had a fantastic season so far and let’s hope he can end the season great.

“We’re in the business end, playing games Manchester United are used to playing in.

“We’re challenging for a semi-final, so let’s hope Alexis, when he’s on the pitch he can be happy with his performance.”

Manchester United lost by 1-0 on aggregate following last week’s first leg at Old Trafford.
