Nigeria’s home-based players for next year’s African Nations Championship (CHAN), are expected to travel to South Africa on January 3, for their final phase of preparations.

The first phase of their camping exercise started on Monday in Abuja.

Six days after they arrive in South Africa, the Super Eagles will take on Cote d’Ivoire in a friendly match in Pretoria. Another game against Angola is also being lined up by the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF).

Nigeria kicks off their CHAN 2016 campaign against Niger on January 18, at the Stade Regional Nyamirambo.
