Chelsea: Drogba set to return to Stamford Bridge on June 16

Chelsea legend Didier Drogba will return to Stamford Bridge on June 16.

This will be the first time Drogba will play at Chelsea since leaving the club back in 2015.

During his time at Chelsea, Drogba won 12 major honors and scored 164 goals.

Drogba will to be leading the line for the Soccer Aid World XI which will feature some celebrities like Usain Bolt, Piers Morgan, Susanna Reid, Mark Wright, and Joe Wicks

Speaking about his return to Stamford Bridge, Drogba said: “I am very excited to be coming back to Stamford Bridge to play in Soccer Aid for Unicef,”

“I am passionate about all children having access to healthcare and education, which is key to Unicef’s work around the world.

“I’m delighted that my foundation and UNICEF are planning a project together in Cote D’Ivoire.

“Together we can help make a real difference to so many children’s lives, and have a greater impact than ever before.”
