Kano Pillars FC defender, Chinedu Udoji has died after a collision involving the car he was riding in and a concrete median separator on the metropolitan highway by the Club Road /Independent way Roundabout.

He was on his way back to the Pillars’ clubhouse after visiting his former Enyimba FC teammates in their hotel.

Udoji was on the pitch yesterday for Kano Pillars’ league game against Enyimba FC at the Sani Abacha Stadium. May his soul rest in peace.
