Chris Brown has been released from detention in Paris after he was arrested for alleged rape, French police says.

Investigation on the incident is still on, the Paris prosecutor’s office said.

The singer and two others were arrested on Monday after a 24-year-old woman alleged she was assaulted in a hotel in the city earlier this month.

Chris Brown took to his social media pages to deny any of the allegations against him.

He said; “I want to make it perfectly clear, this is false,” he wrote on Instagram, attaching photo that said: “This bitch lyin’.”

Brown also added in all-capitals: “I wanna make it perfectly clear…this is false,” before going on to say it was “against my character and morals”.
