US businessman, best known for founding, Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC)

He began selling fried chicken from his roadside restaurant in Corbin, Kentucky

..The 1st KFC franchise opened in Utah in 1952

The company’s rapid expansion across the US & overseas overwhelmed him & in 1964 he sold KFC to investors led by John Y. Brown & Jack C. Massey for $2m
