Court orders EFCC to remand Babachir Lawal in their custody

Babachir Lawal, former Secretary-General to the Federation (SGF), has been ordered to be remanded in EFCC custody.

A Federal High Court in Abuja on Tuesday ordered that Babachir Lawal should be kept in EFCC custody, pending the ruling of the court on his bail application.

However, the court fixed February 13 to rule on the case.

Okay Nigeria had earlier reported that Babachir Lawal pleaded not guilty of the fraud charges filed against him.
