The Governor of Cross Rivers State, Ben Ayade, has announced his defection from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Mr Ayade announced his decision on Thursday morning in a meeting with six APC governors who visited him at the Government House.
The APC delegation was led by Yobe State Governor Mai Mala Buni the APC national caretaker committee chairman.
