Following suspected herdsmen attacks that claimed several lives on Sunday, the Plateau state government has imposed curfew on Riyom, Barakin Ladi and Jos South LGA where the attacks took place.

This comes after the Police Command in the state confirmed the said deaths this afternoon.

Announcing the curfew was the Secretary to the State Government, Rufus Nature, who said movements in the said communities would be restricted between 6pm and 6am on a daily basis except for those on “essential duties”.
