Nigerian & Chelsea midfielder, Mikel is assured returnee David Luiz has worked and improved on his past mistakes after he spent two years at PSG.
Mikel said; “One thing is for sure, he has definitely improved his game in Paris,” Mikel told Goal.
“I think we will see a much better David Luiz. He is coming into the team to help the team.”
“He’s a great player, uses both feet. Great defender, I think he has gone to Paris Saint-Germain and improved his game quite a lot so I think maybe some of the pundits, last time he was here, they weren’t really in support of him.”
Mikel and Luiz struck up a friendship in the Brazilian’s first spell at the club and are two of only three Chelsea players left that were involved in the club’s first ever Champions League trophy, beating Bayern Munich on penalties in 2012.
