David Moyes Resigns As Sunderland Manager

David Moyes has resigned as Manager of relegated Sunderland after failing to save the Black Cats from relegation in a dramatic 2016/2017 Premier League Season.

The former Everton and Manchester United manager was expected to keep the club afloat but failed in his effort.

The dispirited coach however said in an interview that he would like to stay with the club as they fight to return to the premier league next season.

As it stands, his desire cannot stand as his resignation has thrown the managerial position in Sunderland open for a sort of messiah that will lead the club back to the Premier League.
