Abuja, Nigeria – Desmond Elliot, a Nollywood actor and lawmaker representing Surulere I Constituency in the Lagos State House of Assembly, has paid a courtesy visit to the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Nentawe Goshwe Yilwatda.
Okay News reports that the visit highlighted the relationship between the entertainment figure-turned-politician and the leadership of the ruling party.
Elliot, widely known for his career in Nigeria’s film industry before entering politics, has represented Surulere I in the Lagos State legislature where he has continued to focus on constituency development and grassroots engagement.
Yilwatda, a former academic and politician, became the national chairman of the APC in July 2025 and has since been working to strengthen the party’s internal structures and political presence across the country.
