Mr Peter Obi, presidential candidate of Labour Party in the 2023 elections has lamented the inability of the Super Eagles, Nigeria’s national football team to qualify for the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.

It can be recalled that the Super Eagles failed to qualify for the competition holding in Qatar this year after a 1-1 draw with the Black Stars of Ghana.

Obi lamented the failure of Nation’s football team to clinch the World Cup ticket at the flag-off of his rally in Lafia, Nasarawa State capital on Saturday.

“A country of 200 million people, we could not qualify for World Cup!” He said.
