DHQ Declares Eight Persons Wanted Over Killing of 17 Military Personnel in Delta State

The Defence Headquarters (DHQ) has announced the declaration of eight individuals as wanted suspects in connection with the recent killing of 17 military personnel in Delta State.

The military released the list during a briefing held on Thursday in Abuja.

The suspects were identified as;

  1. Prof. Ekpekpo Arthur
  2. Andaowei Dennis Bakriri
  3. Akevwru Daniel Omotegbo (also known as Amagben)
  4. Akata Malawa David,
  5. Sinclear Oliki
  6. Clement Ikolo Oghenerukeywe
  7. Reuben Baru
  8. Igoli Ebi

According to the DHQ, the listed individuals are believed to have played significant roles in the attack on military personnel in the Okuama community of Delta State.

Addressing the media during the briefing, Major General Edward Buba, the Director of Defence Media Operations, called on Nigerians, particularly residents of Delta and neighboring states, to provide credible information that could lead to the arrest of the wanted individuals.

General Buba emphasized the military’s unwavering commitment to apprehending the perpetrators of the heinous act in Delta State.

He reiterated the military’s determination to rescue all kidnapped and abducted victims across Nigeria.
