Diamond Platnumz Talks About Plans to Quit Music

Tanzanian Bongo star, Diamond Platnumz has revealed his plans to quit music in the future.

The singer claims he was only pursuing music to raise enough capital to build his business empire. 

The Tanzanian artiste also admitted he was aware God does not approve of his circular music. However, Diamond is reported to be the richest musician in ‘East Africa’.

The father of three has been trying to maintain a low profile amidst all the drama that has been going on in his life. It can be recalled that the musician was in police custody for posting indecent videos clips on social media. It was also reported that his marriage with South African based Ugandan businesswoman, Zari Hassan crashed early this year due to reports of infidelity .

The celebrated artiste revealed he will be quitting music during the launch of his new religious Muslim show, Nyumba ya Imani. Diamond added that he wasnt planning to sing for the rest of his life.

According to him, music is a source of capital to help build his business empire.

Diamond said;
“My dream is to eventually go fully into business when I quit music. You can’t do music forever, that’s why I’m using my earnings in music to build my businesses. Let’s use the opportunities we have in use to build a better future”.

Among his vast business interests is the Wasafi Classic Baby (WCB) recording label he launched in February 2018 which already boasts of high performing talented artistes such as Rayvanny, Harmonize, Lava Lava, Marombosso, Queen Darling and Rich Mavoko.
