Dupe Olusola is a force to be reckoned with in the Nigerian hospitality industry.

As the CEO of Transcorp Hotels Plc, she has overseen a remarkable period of growth for the company, and her recent comments on the company’s financial performance speak volumes about her leadership style and the dedication of her team.

According to the company’s financial report for the full year 2022, Transcorp Hotels Plc recorded a profit before tax (PBT) of N4.5 billion, representing a 172% increase from the N1.7 billion it reported in 2021. This is a testament to the hard work and strategic vision of Dupe Olusola and her team, who have consistently sought to drive cost efficiencies and improve the company’s net profit margin.

Furthermore, the company recorded a 47% growth in revenue, which rose from N21.4 billion to N31.4 billion in 2022, while its profit after tax was N2.6 billion.

These impressive figures are a reflection of the company’s commitment to delivering quality service to its customers, as well as its ability to adapt to the challenges of an ever-changing macro-climate.

Despite the hike in costs of supplies caused by the negative macro-climate, Dupe Olusola and her team were able to overcome these obstacles and double the company’s net profit margin from 7% in 2021 to 14% in 2022.

This impressive achievement is a reflection of their ability to innovate and find new ways to drive growth, even in the face of adversity.

Perhaps most impressively, the board of the company has approved that the sum of N1.33 billion be paid to shareholders as dividends for the year ended December 31, 2022, which is subject to the shareholders declaration at its Annual General Meeting. This is a clear indication of the company’s financial strength and stability under the leadership of Dupe Olusola.

In her comment on the company’s financial performance, Dupe Olusola acknowledged the contributions of her team, stating that “It takes a whole village and truly I have the best team always, it’s a grace and a blessing.”

This is a testament to her leadership style, which emphasizes collaboration, teamwork, and mutual support. It is clear that her team shares her vision for the company, and together they have achieved remarkable success.

Dupe Olusola is a visionary leader who has transformed Transcorp Hotels Plc into one of the most successful and respected hospitality companies in Nigeria.

Her dedication to excellence, innovation, and teamwork has yielded impressive results, and she deserves to be celebrated for her achievements. It is clear that under her leadership, Transcorp Hotels Plc has a bright future ahead.
