Dupe Olusola, the Managing Director/CEO of Transcorp Hotels Plc, has been honoured with the prestigious Seven Stars Woman of the Year 2024 award and inducted into the Seven Stars Pantheon of Hospitality.

This recognition marks a significant achievement for Olusola, as she becomes only the second person in the 12-year history of the awards to receive this esteemed honour.

The accolade celebrates Olusola’s remarkable leadership and transformative contributions to the African hospitality industry.

Earlier this year, she was also awarded the Hospitality Leadership Award by the Africa Hospitality Investment Forum (AHIF), further solidifying her standing as a leader in the sector.

Under Olusola’s visionary direction, Transcorp Hotels Plc has gained a reputation for innovation and excellence.

The company’s flagship property, Transcorp Hilton Abuja, continues to earn accolades, including the titles of Best Luxury Hotel Nigeria and Best Luxury Business Hotel – Africa, highlighting its prominence in luxury hospitality across the continent.

Reflecting on the award, Olusola expressed her gratitude and pride in the team’s efforts:

“I am deeply honoured and humbled to be recognized among the leading voices in global hospitality. This award represents the hard work, passion, and commitment of the entire Transcorp Hotels team to redefine what it means to deliver luxury in Africa. It is a shared success, and it inspires us to continue our mission to redefine hospitality in Africa,” she said.

The Seven Stars Woman of the Year Award is one of the most sought-after honours in the global hospitality industry, awarded to individuals who have demonstrated exceptional leadership, innovation, and a commitment to advancing industry standards.

Olusola’s induction into the Seven Stars Pantheon of Hospitality is a testament to her impactful leadership and the impressive growth trajectory of Transcorp Hotels under her guidance.

During the award ceremony, Khalil El-Mouelhy, Chairman, President, and Founder of the Seven Stars Luxury Hospitality and Lifestyle Awards, praised the honorees for their dedication to excellence.

“Tonight’s ceremony is a celebration of the innovation and dedication that defines our industry. We are proud to recognize those who are setting new standards in luxury hospitality,” El-Mouelhy remarked.

Andrea Luri, Honorary Chairman of the Seven Stars Awards, added:

“The Seven Stars Awards represent a global network of exceptional hospitality. It is inspiring to see such a diverse array of talent being celebrated tonight, affirming the importance of collaboration and excellence across borders.”
