Nigeria has recorded 556 new cases of COVID-19 on Sunday, July 19th, 2020.

Data from the NCDC showed that the cases were spread across 17 states, and the FCT with Edo accounting for the highest number of infections for the day with 104 cases.

The states with the 556 new cases are Edo-104, Lagos-97, FCT-70, Benue-66, Oyo-61, Kaduna-38, Plateau-28, Osun-19, Akwa Ibom-14, Rivers-13, Katsina-13, Ondo-13, Ogun-6, Kano-5, Nasarawa-4, Gombe-2, Ekiti-2 and Borno-1.

NCDC also announced that as of 11:30 pm on 19th July, there are 36,663 total COVID-19 confirmed cases reported in Nigeria.

15,105 patients have been discharged with 789 deaths across the country.
