EFCC Secures Interim Forfeiture of $2.8m Intercepted at Enugu Airport

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has secured an order for the interim forfeiture of $2.8 million intercepted at Akanu Ibiam International Airport, Enugu.

okay recalls that the EFCC intercepted two men carrying $2.8 million at Akanu Ibiam International Airport in Enugu.

A source at the EFCC confirmed securing an order for the interim forfeiture which was granted by “Justice A.T. Mohammed of Court 6, Federal High Court, Port- Harcourt.

“Interim forfeiture of the $2, 800, 000 was ordered pending the conclusion of investigation”.
