Pashotah, the wife of popular content creator Egungun of Lagos, has revealed an attempt to blackmail her using a private video of her husband.

She shared details of the incident via her Instagram page, stating that the blackmailer reached out to her directly, threatening to release the video unless certain demands were met.

In her statement, Pashotah disclosed that while she had previously dismissed similar incidents, she decided to address this particular case because the threats were directed at her.

She shared screenshots of the blackmailer’s messages, which outlined their demands to prevent the video’s release online.

Clarifying the nature of the video, Pashotah explained that it was a personal recording meant for her but had somehow been obtained by the blackmailer.

She expressed confidence in her husband’s integrity and dismissed the incident as an unsuccessful attempt to create discord in their marriage.

“I’ve been by my husband’s side through most of his work. I know him, and I know his character,” she said.

Pashotah further emphasized the strength of her marriage, describing it as one built on trust, loyalty, and commitment over the past six years. She declared that the blackmail attempt would neither affect their relationship nor compel them to yield to the demands.

In her Instagram post, she wrote: “Hi guys, I’m Pashotah and yall know who my husband is, obviously, I know how so many people have wanted to bring the both of us down including guys and girls Buh I always choose to ignore, buh I’m not ignoring today cuz this blackmailer didn’t go to Egungun of Lagos directly to blackmail him buh he came to me instead cuz he has a motive of putting me to shame like he said in his messages above buh one thing he (the blackmailer) doesn’t know is that this relationship between myself and my husband is not just build on LOVE or build today, this relationship has been coming for over 6/8years when we both had nothing, this relationship is built on TRUST, UNDERSTANDING, LOYALTY, COMMITMENT and so many more, so there’s nothing that can bring us down, not even now.”
