President Muhammadu Buhari has arrived in Katsina ahead of the Eid-el-Kabir Sallah celebrations.

The presidential aircraft landed at Umar Musa Yaradua International Airport at around 5 o’clock this evening, and left shortly for Daura.

The president and his entourage were received at the airport by Governor Aminu Bello Masari and some senior indigenes of the state.

It is expected that the president will be in his home town for the festive period and will perform some official engagements during his stay.
