The body of the late Ekwueme singer, Osinachi Nwachukwu has been laid to rest amidst tears in her hometown, Isochi Umunneochi in Abia State.

Okay.ng recalls that Osinachi died on April 8, 2022, in Abuja.

She was alleged to have been a victim of domestic violence prior to death.

Her death was linked to her husband, Peter Nwachukwu, for which he is standing trial before a Federal Capital Territory High Court.

The husband had denied beating his wife, claiming that she died of lung cancer.

Nwachukwu is presently remanded in Kuje Correctional Facility in Abuja.
