“All complains must be made within 21 days after the declaration of the winner by INEC,” she said.

Bello said the tribunal would not accept any petition brought after the 21 days as stipulated by electoral law.

Mallam Nasir El-rufai of the All Progressives Congress had won the April 11 governorship election in Kaduna state with over 1 million votes to defeat the incumbent governor, Ramalan Yero of the People’s Democratic Party.

Yero had congratulated El-rufai on his victory at the polls.
