We check dates, candidate details and election procedures against official records. We distinguish confirmed facts from claims and information still under review.
Keep time in view
Review dates show when information was checked by the election desk. They are separate from election day, a notice’s publication date and a results declaration.
Present candidates fairly
Profiles use the same fields and editorial standards. Missing photographs, biographies or policy statements are not filled in with assumptions.
Leave room for corrections
New notices may amend a date or a candidate record. Please include the page and the official document when reporting a concern.
