Emir of Kano, Muhammadu Sanusi II, look a different man these days from the one who shook the banking sector, former bank chiefs, national assembly members and even the presidency at different times in the past.
The fiery banker and activist turned traditional ruler has substituted his suit and bow tie for traditional garb, and in the photos below, Sanusi looked every inch like the new part.
Sanusi hosted the Kano governor, Abdullahi Ganduje, and others at the Emir of Kano annual Ramadan Tasfir sessions at his palace.
At the event, Sheikh Gwani Malam Hadi recited the Quran, while Sheikh Karibullahi Nasiru interpreted.
