Etisalat has announced new internet subscription plans in Nigeria.

The telecoms firm has reviewed its internet subscription plans following fierce competition from rivals in the industry. The new plans basically offer more data at the same old price.

The N1000 plan now gives users 1.5GB, valid for a month, as opposed to the previous data cap of 1GB. Users can dial *229*2*7# or send AND1 to 229 to activate this plan. Dialing *229*2*8# (or sending AND2 to 229) gives users 3.5GB for 30 days at a cost of N2000.

In addition, there are 8GB for N8,000, 10GB for N10,000, 15GB for N15,000 and 20GB for N18,000 data plans.
