Villas-Boas, 46, secured 21,489 votes, significantly outnumbering his 86-year-old opponent, who received 5,224 votes. This election marks a historic moment for the club, with Villas-Boas declaring, “What a historic night… our club is alive and today proved its strength.”

Notably, Villas-Boas experienced his most successful managerial spell at Porto, making his election as president a significant development for the club.
