Ex-ICPC Chairman, Justice Emmanuel Ayoola, Passes Away at 90

Justice Emmanuel Ayoola, a former chairman of the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC), has passed away at the age of 90. According to a statement released by his family, Ayoola died on Tuesday.

The statement described Ayoola as a beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle, benefactor, and friend. He was a retired Justice of the Supreme Court of Nigeria (JSC) and a recipient of the national honor, Commander of the Order of the Niger (CON).

Ayoola’s contributions to the fight against corruption in Nigeria are notable, and his legacy will be remembered. The family has not announced funeral arrangements yet.
