Former Nigerian president who heads the Observer Group for the general elections in Tanzania has been monitoring the elections in that country which held on Sunday.
The Tanzanian elections which is the closest the nation has ever seen pits the ruling Chama Cha Mapinguzi party’s John Mapuguli against the Ukawa coalition’s Edward Lowassa. The incumbent president Kikwete has concluded his tenure and is not running for reelection.
