Nigeria-Police-11

The Nigerian police has arrested a man who pretended to be a presidential adviser on defence matters.

Anjuguri Manzah, the spokesman for the Federal Capital Territory police command, made a disclosure on Monday, October 19 adding that the suspect had been detained on Sunday on a tip-off.

According to NAN, Manzah said the fake colonel (name withheld) had been defrauding socially influential people. On the day of the arrest the suspect went to Maitama area of Abuja to hold a fraudulent meeting.
