Fans Bombard Bayowa Adegbenga with Insults For Making Movie Out Of Moji Olaiya’s Burial

The marketing brain behind most yoruba movies, Bayowa Adegbenga Adewusi, has been bombarded with insults for making a movie out of Moji Olaiya’s burial.

Many patriots of Yoruba movies industry were shocked to find out that Bayowa made a movie about Moji’s funeral and titled it ‘Canada to Grave’.

The movie comes barely two weeks after the actress was buried at the Ikoyi vaults, Lagos.

Moji Olaiya who was born on the 15th of February, 1975, died on the 18th of May, 2017, and was buried on the 6th of June, leaving an 18-year-old daughter and a two-month-old daughter behind.

The media is yet to get any reaction from the bereaved family of the actress. Many lovers of Yoruba films are, however, displeased with Bayowa’s act.

A furious fan identified as Bode expressed anger as thus: “This is heartbreaking. And why that kind of nasty and stupid title? Do these guys think at all? I am so hurt.”

Another fan, Elegant_Zee, wrote: “Human beings! this is an inevitable journey, can anyone tell where his or her bus/stop will be? We should all remember that we are sojourners.”

An up-coming actress and filmmaker, Seyi Hunter, wrote: “This greedy people are using her death to generate income #inhumane.”

Yet another, Silverspooncuisine, commented: “Haba! This is really crazy. Can they just leave her so she can be in peace fa? Haba!”

“This is insane! No respect for the dead anymore,” a fan named Happiness stated.
