Nigeria’s Federal Government declared Friday, January 2, public holiday to mark Eid el Maloud.

Minister of Interior, Abba Moro, who made the announcement, wished all Muslim faithful and Nigerian a peaceful celebration.

It would be recalled that January 1 had been previously declared a public holiday in connection with the New Year celebration.
