Federal Government Will Produce Nnamdi Kanu In Court – Lawyer

By Farouk Mohammed

Ifeanyi Ejiofor, the lawyer to the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, says the Federal Government will produce his client in court on Tuesday.

Kanu is due to appear at a Federal High Court in Abuja on Tuesday, but his whereabouts has been unknown after the Army allegedly invaded his home.

However, according to Ejiofor in a statement on Monday, the Federal Government knows where his client is and as such will bring him to court.

“We have filed a suit at the court asking the federal government to produce him in court,” he said.

“It is obvious they will bring him to court tomorrow. They are holding him. They know where he is. I am fully convinced they will bring him to court.”

The IPOB leader is being prosecuted for treason and was granted bail earlier this year due to health issues.
