The Federation Account Allocation Committee (FAAC) has released the latest revenue distribution figures for November 2025, confirming that N1.928 trillion has been shared among the federal, state, and local governments.

Okay News reports that the allocation followed FAAC’s December 2025 meeting chaired by Dr. Doris Uzoka Anite, Minister of State for Finance.

FAAC said the shared amount came from a gross total of N2.343 trillion, which included Gross Statutory Revenue, Value Added Tax (VAT), and the Electronic Money Transfer Levy (EMTL).

According to the committee, the Federal Government received N747.159 billion, the states received N601.731 billion, and local government councils received N445.266 billion. Oil producing states also got N134.355 billion as 13 percent derivation.

The committee confirmed that N84.251 billion was deducted as cost of collection, while N330.625 billion went to Transfers, Intervention and Refunds.

A communique issued after the meeting showed that VAT revenue fell sharply, dropping from N719.827 billion in October to N563.042 billion in November. After deductions for cost of collection and refunds, N485.838 billion remained distributable. From this, the Federal Government got N72.876 billion, the states received N242.919 billion, and local governments received N170.043 billion.

Statutory revenue also declined. FAAC recorded N1.736 trillion for November, lower than N2.164 trillion in the previous month. After deductions, N1.403 trillion was shared across the three tiers of government, with the Federal Government taking N668.336 billion, the states receiving N338.989 billion, and LGAs receiving N261.346 billion. Derivation again accounted for N134.355 billion.

On EMTL, N43.400 billion was distributed. The Federal Government received N5.947 billion, states received N19.823 billion, and LGAs got N13.876 billion. FAAC set aside N1.736 billion for collection costs and N2.018 billion for refunds and savings.

FAAC noted that Excise Duty recorded a moderate increase, while several revenue sources declined, including Petroleum Profit Tax, Hydrocarbon Tax, Company Income Tax on upstream activities, CIT/CGT, Stamp Duty, oil and gas royalties, import duty, CET levies, VAT, EMTL, and related fees.

In total, FAAC said N1.928 trillion became available for distribution from N1.403 trillion statutory revenue, N485.838 billion VAT, and N39.646 billion EMTL.
