Vice President Kashim Shettima met with the World Bank Nigeria team at the Presidential Villa, Aso Rock, Abuja to discuss how to integrate Nigeria’s education infrastructure with technology.

The meeting was held on Wednesday September 11, 2024.

Shettima at the meeting emphasized the need for a holistic approach, including improving infrastructure, teacher training, and technology implementation.

The Federal Government is committed to making necessary changes, but cooperation from all stakeholders, including state governors, is crucial to drive this transformation forward.

The World Bank’s Country Director for Nigeria, Dr. Ndiame Diop, also outlined the bank’s focus on improving governance, health, and education across the country.
