Nigeria vs Australia — U-17 World Cup

The Golden Eaglets of Nigeria were defeated 2-1 by Australia in the ongoing FIFA U-17 World Cup 2019 in Brazil on Friday.

Noah Botic secured the first for Australia, and Peter Olawale equalized to end the game in a 1-1 in the first half.

Resuming the second half, Botic netted a penalty in the 54th minute to main a lead against the Golden Eaglets till the end of the game.

However, Nigeria has qualified for the Round of 16 after defeating Ecuador 3-2 in a dramatic comeback.
