A section of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) secretariat building in Abuja was gutted by fire on Tuesday night.
Okay.ng gathered that the inferno affected the floor housing the commission’s accounting and finance department.
The building is located at Asokoro District of Abuja, the capital of Nigeria.
A senior official of the commission confirmed the incident to journalists saying that the Federal Fire Service had put out the fire.
