A fire outbreak occurred at Ecobank headquarters on Victoria Island, Lagos on Tuesday.
According to an eyewitness, the fire started when a diesel tanker exploded near their generator.
Confirming the outbreak, the PR unit of the bank said the fire was caused by a truck delivering diesel and thereby impacting the generator in the bank.
The bank alsp noted that no lives were lost to the inferno.
The bank added that officers of the Federal and Lagos State Fire Service were on ground to put out the fire, adding that the situation was under control.
