Flutterwave, a leading payments technology company, has announced the appointment of Dipo Fatokun as the new Chairman of Flutterwave Technologies Solutions Limited, alongside Tosin Faniro-Dada as an Independent Non-Executive Director.
These strategic appointments underscore Flutterwave’s commitment to maintaining the highest regulatory, compliance, and governance standards as it continues to drive innovation in the fintech ecosystem across Africa.
With over 30 years of extensive experience in banking services, finance, and regulatory oversight, Mr. Fatokun brings invaluable expertise to Flutterwave.
He has played pivotal roles in spearheading key initiatives such as the Cashless Nigeria Initiative and the Bank Verification Number project during his tenure as a Director at the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN). Mr. Fatokun’s leadership will further bolster Flutterwave’s dedication to advancing payment innovations while upholding regulatory and compliance standards.
Joining Mr. Fatokun on the board is Tosin Faniro-Dada, a seasoned ecosystem builder and investor with over 17 years of experience in finance and investment management. Ms. Faniro-Dada’s extensive background in corporate banking and investment, coupled with her role as a Partner at Breega, will enhance Flutterwave’s support for tech startups across Nigeria.
