The immediate past National Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Mallam Bolaji Abdullahi, has been appointed the spokesman of the newly formed Coalition of United Political Parties (CUPP) seeking to wrest power from the APC in 2019.

Abdullahi, who recently resigned from his position as the spokesperson of the ruling party was announced as the head of the Media and Publicity committee, which includes Kazeem Afegbua and Kola Ologbondiyan.

Abdullahi’s committee was among the several sub-committees inaugurated yesterday in Abuja by the steering committee of CUPP.

CUPP is a coalition of 38 opposition political parties which had agreed to collaborate with the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to field a common presidential candidate in the next year’s election.
