Nick Imudia, the former Chief Executive Officer of Nigerian e-commerce giant Konga, tragically died by suicide on Tuesday, June 25.

Imudia, who was serving as the CEO of D.light, a leading residential solar energy solutions company, reportedly took his own life in his Lekki, Lagos apartment.

Sources close to the situation indicate that Imudia jumped from the balcony of his apartment late Tuesday night.

Prior to the tragic event, he contacted his brother in the United States, providing instructions on how to distribute his wealth in the event of his death.

Additionally, he reached out to his young daughter from a previous relationship, assuring her that he would always be with her and that she could find him by looking at the sky.

The news has left his friends, family, and colleagues in profound shock, struggling to comprehend the reasons behind his decision to end his life.

Imudia, originally from Ika South Local Government Area of Delta State, had a notable career in the tech industry and was widely respected for his contributions.

Imudia’s personal life had its challenges. He had previously been married to the mother of his daughter, who also hails from the same local government.

The marriage ended due to irreconcilable differences
