Babangida Aliyu, former governor of Niger state, and Umar Nasko, are to be arrested as a Federal High Court in Minna revoked their bail, Okay Nigeria reports.

Justice Aminu Aliyu, the presiding judge, revoked the bail earlier granted by Justice Yellim Bogoro on grounds that Aliyu and Nasko refused to respect hearing notices served on them to appear in court.

The two were summoned to appear on Thursday over alleged N1.9 billion fraud case against them, a case which was re-assigned to Justice Aliyu.

However, the refused to show up to honour the summon.

Olajide Ayodele, the counsel to Aliyu, sent a letter praying for an adjournment.
