FUEL SCARCITY: CAPITAL OIL INTERVENES WITH 70 MILLION LITERS OF PETROLEUM PRODUCTS

Published Updated

Ifeanyi Uba, Chairman Capital Oil and Gas, says 13 million litres of petroleum products is currently being released by his firm, approximately 400 trucks of petroleum products including premium motor spirit, popularly called petrol, to ease the scourge of the current endemic fuel scarcity that Nigeria had been plunged into.

He also said, 53 million litres will be added in a few days, totalling 70 million litres.

This move breaks the ranks of oil marketers and depot operators, who have refused to import any more products until their outstanding subsidy claims of over N200B is paid.
